Hello gamers, and welcome to my brand new project!

It's Borealis here - musician and indie game developer!  If you've followed me for a while, you may know me as the creator of the emotional music and mental health visual novel 'Venus: Improbable Dream'.  I've been planning my second game for quite a while now, and after much behind the scenes hustling, I'm ready to start sharing its development with you!  Buckle up and get your mugs ready, 'cos here's the tea!

As you can see from the game page, 'True Colours' is a cute dating sim with a dark secret!  It also has several unique features that really help you to feel like you're part of the game!  The most prominent one is the fact that the protagonist - that's you - is gender neutral in appearance, and you can input any name of your choosing to customise the character for yourself!  All of the game's characters will refer to you as your chosen name for full immersion!

So, what's this protagonist's story?  Let me give you a brief summary of their background, and how 'True Colours' begins!

Single, living alone and working a boring office job, your protagonist feels like they're in a bit of a lull in life - everything's fine, but nothing exciting ever happens.  That's until the boss hires three new people to join your team, and suddenly, love is in the air!  All three of these new peeps are potential romance partners just waiting to be wooed!  Your uneventful routine is suddenly filled with dates, adventures and fuzzy new feelings!  However, everyone has their secrets...  right?

As love blossoms and truths are revealed, some shocking revelations may appear!  Who is trustworthy, and who is hiding something sinister?  Who is not who they appear to be after all?  There's drama!  There's betrayal!  There's also really cute puppies to soothe the pain!  How will you feel when you see everybody's...  'True Colours'?
